On April 23, 2026, a detailed review meeting was organized at Jawahar Bhawan in Lucknow to assess the progress of various projects run by the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission (UPSRLM) in line with their targets. The meeting was chaired by the Commissioner, Rural Development, Shri G.S. Priyadarshi (GS Priyadarshi).
The meeting involved an in-depth analysis of the progress of schemes under the mission, achievement of set targets, financial and physical accomplishments, and the status of implementation at the grassroots level. While reviewing district-wise progress, the Commissioner emphasized the adoption of a strategic approach to achieve the expected outcomes.
The Commissioner directed the officers to prepare a concrete action plan for the effective implementation of schemes, timely delivery of benefits to beneficiaries, and accelerating livelihood promotion activities. Additionally, instructions were given to ensure coordinated efforts for the empowerment of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), skill development, financial inclusion, and promotion of entrepreneurship.
